  • Why should I order a Comicsus?

    All of our work is hand drawn and made from scratch. This is how we are unique among other competitors that would use computer software to convert your photo to a comic style picture or simply draw your face into a template. We treat each order with great respect and try our best to express your wish on a blank piece of paper. Illustrator firstly spends time creating and drawing sketches, only then he draws full picture and scans it over to the computer for professional colouring. Each piece of work is produced and delivered in digital image (.jpg) format. However, if you are living in the UK we also offer to deliver your work as a hard copy poster or printed on canvas.
  • How long will this take?

    Please always allow up to 21 calendar days for the digital side of your order to be fulfilled. At the moment all orders will be completed on a FIFO (first in first out) basis. However, we will make sure keeping you up to date. Once you have submitted your order we will review and update your "My Account" page with the expected completion date. If you also opted for a hard copy such as canvas or a poster, please allow up to 7 further calendar days for it to be delivered to your door.
  • What if I am not happy with my illustration?

    We offer 100% satisfaction guarantee. Once the sketch is completed, we will make it available for you to review. At that stage you will be able to make changes and we will deliver up to 3 revisions of your drawing free of charge. We will make sure you are happy or will issue you a refund. Once you have accepted the sketch, we will assume you are satisfied with initial drawing and will proceed in delivering the final product.
  • What information do you need from me?

    You can give us as much or as little information as you want. Some folks send us a full script. Others just tell us roughly what they’re looking for, and let us be creative!
  • I’ve noticed a mistake! Can I change my order?

    Yes. Due to your work being completed in stages you can change your order or correct a mistake. First, check what stage your order is at and contact us using the contact form on the website as soon as possible. Needless to say, you may be charged extra if you decided to change your order at the very last minute given that we would have to prioritise your order against other submissions and change it before it is delivered digitally.
  • How can I check the status of my order?

    You are able to check it by accessing My Account page and selecting the order. There are several stages of processing the order and at each of them you will also receive an email notification advising you on a current status.
  • Can I use International text or foreign languages?

    Yes. You should give the details of your order in English. However, if you would like to add any text in another language to feature in your illustration – feel free so!
  • What if I'm interested in something that isn't mentioned or offered here?

    We are always willing to complete additional work and we want to do our best in making you happy. We can draw anyone or anything you want upon expression of your wish into a poster, story board, postcard or even a comic book. We also can help you with commercial advertising material, animation, corporate website cartoons, caricatures or any other like of drawings. Prices for anything other than an illustration that can be ordered through our Order Form are negotiable.

About the Payment & Delivery

  • How can I pay?

    All our payments are processed through PayPal, however, you do not have to have a PayPal account to place your order. Once you are in a payment screen please opt for a debit/credit card if that is more convenient for you.
  • How much do the comics cost?

    Please refer to the dedicated pricing page for costs.
  • Can I get my image printed and framed?

    Yes. If you reside in the UK, we offer to print your image as a poster or canvas for an extra charge. Please select the relevant option when completing the order form. Should you have changed your mind after placing your order for digital copy only, please get in touch using the contact form and quoting your order number, and we will sort it out for you.
  • Payment and Personal Details Security

    We do not hold any payment or personal details of our customers. These are securely held and protected by PayPal.
  • Are there any restrictions on where I can use the final product?

    Should you be willing to use our work for commercial purpose, please get in touch to negotiate the terms before submitting your order as additional agreement is also required. Personal/Editorial use is not restricted.

  • What kind of photo should I upload?

    All major digital image formats are accepted. Make sure that one image size does not exceed 9MB.
  • Can I place an order using my smartphone or tablet?

    Yes. Our website is fully compatible with all mobile devices. However, should you wish to submit a photo, some browsers, especially used by mobile devices, may not support file upload. In that case you should use your laptop or PC to complete your order.
  • I am having difficulty with a photo upload

    If you were trying to upload multiple large size photos it might take a while. Please be patient. Also some browsers, especially used by mobile devices, may not support file upload in general. In that case you should use your laptop or PC to complete an order. If it still does not work, please get in touch.
  • I am having payment problems
